Checking Your Waitlist Status

Learn how to check your position on the waitlist using your personal status link.

After joining a waitlist, you can check your status anytime using your personal status link.

When you joined the waitlist, you received an email with a link to check your status. Look for:

  • Subject: “Welcome to [Organization Name] waitlist!”
  • A button that says “Check Your Status”

Tip: Can't find the email? Check your spam folder. You can also contact the organization to resend it.

What You’ll See

Your status page shows your information for each waitlist entry tied to your email address.

Sunny Days Childcare

Main Campus · Toddlers

Emma Johnson

Current Position

#3

Date Added

January 15, 2027

Each entry card includes:

  • Organization, location, and group in the header (styled with the organization’s brand color)
  • Your name (or the name of the person on the waitlist)
  • Current position — Your place in line (e.g., #3)
  • Date added — When you joined the waitlist

If your entry has been completed or removed, you’ll see a message instead of a position number (e.g., “Enrolled” or “Removed from waitlist”).

Multiple Entries

If you have more than one entry tied to your email address, all entries are shown on the same page.

Understanding Your Position

  • Position #1 means you’re first in line for your group
  • Positions may change as people ahead of you enroll or leave
  • Different groups have separate position numbers

Position is calculated for your specific group:

#1 Emma (Toddlers)
#1 Liam (Infants)
#2 You (Toddlers)

Uploading Documents

If the organization requires documents, you can upload them directly from your status page:

  3. Choose a file (images or PDFs accepted)
  4. Click Upload

You’ll see a checkmark next to documents that have been uploaded.

Removing Yourself from the Waitlist

If you’re no longer interested, some organizations allow you to remove yourself:

  1. Click Remove from Waitlist at the bottom of your entry card
  2. Optionally select a reason
  3. Confirm the removal

Note: Self-removal is permanent. Contact the organization if you change your mind.

Checking Status Regularly

You can check your status anytime:

  1. Click your status link (bookmark it!)
  2. No login required
  3. Information updates in real-time

If Your Position Changes

Positions can change for several reasons:

  • Someone ahead of you enrolled
  • Someone ahead of you withdrew
  • The organization made adjustments
